Convenient BUT needs improvement to be GREAT

The X1 Wireless has some strong benefits over the EV805 (corded 4 lead system) which I had been using for weeks. The cords on the EV805 were really bothersome in both comfort and being troublesome and pushed me to the X1 Wireless. I'm only using the TENS mode on both models for interrupting the muscle spasms I have with a chronic degenerative spinal condition. I've worn the X1 almost daily for about 2 weeks and can provide both PROS and NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.
PROS: 1) super comfortable and most of the day I'm unaware it's adhered to my back; 2) charging and battery life is good. I've never had it run out of juice and I only charge it every two days and have the TENS unit on about 20-40% of the day. 3) Gel pad durability is excellent (I hot-tub/shower off/dry-and-cool down in the morning before application so my skin is as oil-free and dry as possible)
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: 1) The control buttons are elevated (poking up) and are prone to turning off/on when sitting down. It's occurred multiple times in the car, on gym weight machines, and even on a chair lift. Sometimes the HEAT is turned on... draining power. Sometimes it turns off the TENS stimulation when I need it on. BIG design flaw. It needs either recessed buttons or a protecting ridge around the button; 2) It only comes with ONE (1) TENS mode pre-programmed into the unit. Really?? The EV805 has a confusing plethora of combinations and permutations and this X1 has one. 3) Minor annoyance but after use you're supposed to put a cardboard card on the exposed gel to protect it until the next use. Fine. Great Idea. But once the two cards are applied, it won't fit inside the box. Either make the box 1.5cm longer or cut off the ends of the cardboard cards.

RECOMMEND?? Yes, I'd still recommend this to friends since it really is a game changer in terms of convenience. It just can be SO SO MUCH better.
